Hey there !
Sorry if I haven’t blogged as frequently as I’m used to recently but honestly, it’s getting hard for me to do everything I want in a single day. But I’m not complaining because obviously I prefer having too much to do than anything at all :) So last week, Enchanted Polish released 5 new shades and Entwined. Chelsea sent them to me so I could share the swatches with you. So the five new shades are called : Daydream*, Desert Sunset*, Festival*, House of the Rising Sun* and Instant Galaxy*. The one I wanted to try the most was Instant Galaxy, the little brother of Djinn in a Bottle !
Three shades of the new collection contain microscopic glass flecks. I tried to do some macro shots to show you these flecks, and this is the best I could do. Hope you’ll see what I’m talking about !
I tried not to overwhelm you with swatches pictures this time. I tried to shoot each polish both inside with artificial lighting and outside under the burning sun of Dubai :D House of the Rising Sun was shot only once as it looked pretty much the same inside and outside. I applied all of the polishes in two simple coats and I applied a single coat of the top coats Festival and Instant Galaxy over a black base. I added top coat on Festival just to have a smoother finish as it has lots of glitters. Let’s go !
Honestly, I’m really happy I got all of these new shades from Enchanted Polish. I would have bought all of them anyway and I wouldn’t have regretted it. I’m a little disappointed by the opacity of both Desert Sunset and House of the Rising Sun. I don’t like it when I see my free edge. Two coats are not enough for me, maybe I should have tried a third one. But they’re pretty thick, so I don’t know if it would have looked better.
If I had to pick only one of these? Instant Galaxy without any hesitation. In addition to being a concentrated version of Djinn in a Bottle, it has those tiny holo glitters that you can also find in Entwined. And I love it ! By the way, do you have a holo top coat similar to Djinn ? Something soft, that doesn’t give some kind of grey cast and easy to find? Because I’m using mine a lot and I need to find dupes asap ! :D
Did you buy any of these ? Which one is your favorite ?
