Hi guys !
This morning when I woke up, the sky was grey, and yes that’s not common in Dubai. But let me reassure you, the sun was here and it peeked through the clouds during the day and obviously the weather was as hot as usual. Today I was planning on sharing with you a review of the Topatopa stamping polishes, but honestly I first wanted to put bright color on my nails. And decided to go with the flow. So I took three OPI nail polish shades and created a gradient !
As I wanted the colors to pop, I applied a single coat of white nail polish before creating the gradient. The white I used is White Matter by Formula X. Then I did the gradient using three OPI colors : the yellow The It Color, the orange Hi Def, and the pink Hey Baby. Once all the colors blended, I added my top coat. Currently I’m back to my beloved Sèche Vite. This is the top coat that works the best for me, and the one I love most I guess.
Honestly, I love the gradient by itself. I think it looks great this way. But after working a few hours, I realized that I really wanted to stamp it. So I checked in my stamping plates and I found some really cool palm trees on the TP 01 stamping plate by Topatopa. And I knew it was exactly what I was looking for !
For the stamping, I used my Formula X Dark Matter. You know the one that got too thick to be used as a traditional nail polish. Well, now it’s perfect for stamping !
I added one last coat of top coat and that was it ! :)
As I told you, I was going to make a review of the Topatopa stamping polishes, so I’ll do the review on Monday ! Plus I’ll work on a nice mani using the stamping polishes !
Meanwhile, I’m happy to see that you liked this mani as much as I did on Instagram ! If you recreate it please share it with me I love seeing your re-creations ! :)
Thanks for reading ! ❤❤
